Devin began to truly become a student of the game after being cut from his high school team in Simi Valley, CA. He took his passion for coaching and collaborated with Jena Laolagi to form Lights Out Hoops in January of 2006. Devin is currently the Lights Out Hoops Program Director and coach. Devin also served time as the Assistant Varsity Coach at AGBU High School, Canoga Park, CA (2006-2007) and has been offered various high school JV, Assistant Varsity and Varsity positions around the San Fernando Valley, but chooses to spend his time developing youth basketball players in the San Fernando Valley and LA area.
As an employee at Balboa Sports Center, Devin has been the Adult Basketball League commissioner since 2002. Devin has also spent his time working as the Camp Director for multiple basketball camps in the San Fernando Valley.
